I read a book by this Wonderful American,, who was ( Not sure if he
is still around) a Professor,, and was teaching Philosphy to Students
in New York/ New Jersy/ not sure..
and His colleague was a Great Buddhist Monk,, Buddhis initiate
beginign with the name Rinpe.. something.. and the two were
colleagues..

Swami Ramadoss.. is a devotee of Shree Ramana Maharishi..
and wrote a book titled " Bhagawadh Githa" and talks a lot about
Buddhist retreat too, and ZEN Budddhism..

He talks much about Hallucinogens and the experience of Shamanic
travel and so on and his trips to India and meeting a Guru.
